Binary “Hand” Clock

Chris Laser Sintered Nylon “Hand” used for unique clock Abstract: Fabricated a “disguised clock” for freshman engineering project. The hands were made using a SLS sintered-nylon method at Protogenic. Course: “Freshman Project” instructed by Professor Piket-May during the Fall 2006 semester. Group members: Chris Coleman Len Feroldi Brendan Gormley Cody McLemore Project Description: 1st place for freshman projects, 3rd place overall, people’s choice award Fabricated a “disguised” binary clock using model hands Partnered with contacts at Protogenic to 3D-print the flexible, sintered nylon model hands Professor purchased our clock at the end of the course Videos:
